Getting off your butt

If you want to fill your life with wonderful memories you’re going to have to not be behind a screen so much, get off your butt, and get a bit uncomfortable.

Luckily Peoria’s filled with a lot of wonderful people, places, events, organizations, and resources to make great memories.

That said, it can be difficult to find things to do and get involved in the community if you don’t already know where to look. I was in that same boat when I moved to Peoria in 2023.

To make it easier to get involved in the community and connect with others I decided to make the Peoria Pathfinder. A central location to easily find the local places and events that are the soul of Peoria.

With media being too overwhelming and big corporations everywhere, there’s not a better time to get involved and support local. Exploring is fun and fulfilling, but it requires you to put in some effort.

The question now becomes, will you get off your butt and explore local?
