Grand View Drive, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a 2.52-mile scenic roadway built in 1903. Dubbed the “world’s most beautiful drive” by President Theodore Roosevelt during a 1910 visit to Peoria, it offers sweeping views of the Illinois River Valley and features many historic homes along its route. The linear park is especially vibrant in autumn, and includes 1.75 miles of paved sidewalk for hiking.
